Goldie

Linguist and Translator. Goldie studies many languages from written to spoken to even the hums and songs of Coatls. She even studies body languages all to do her best at communicating with others. Often times she is asked to help translate during speeches or meetings or help create braille manuscripts for the blind members of the clan. Since she was a bogsneak before an Aether, she hasn't developed full word-replacement syndrome like the others in her Aether home. This often means she will also be called to translate their manuscripts and speech if she is around. Though since she lives with her Aether friends, she will also be able to translate the crazy words they label onto things. Like Pepper and her long list of food flippers (spatula) or mixing rod (whisk) as well as her foods. Often Goldie has to come to the store early to label the displays properly for dragons so they can just point to what they want rather than being told that is a hole-punched sugar dusted fried flour roll ( a powdered donut).

Goldie spends a lot of time with Patchi as well doing the same thing on important labels just so the dragons will remember the correct medicine by its actual name. In Goldie's free time she loves to visit the Marigold Muesum where she and Quinn have quite the long chat over the exhibits. Quinn loves absolutely everything gold but loves his chats with Goldie not just her name. Goldie loves to study history as she loves to translate the writings in the scrolls and tablets she uncovers. She works with Quinn to help him crack the code on the uncovered relics that the team brings in.

Of course the relics that are brought in are not always permanent. Goldie also works with the Traveling Truffles to discuss the history behind the languages and relics as well as culture of other domains. In these ways she can better interact with the clients she translates for as well as help Quinn and the Marigolds team properly restore relics and even see if the relics that they have need to return to the home domain if they are one of a kind relics from a clan. Though even if they have to return home, Luna loves to write an expose on them and display them in the museum's returned relics books. Goldie works with the Truffle members often though she loves working with Ghostpetal to learn much about her own her own Shadow culture.

Goldie has a unique gift, a power that allows her to alter the shadows and shadowing of objects. She uses this mostly to reveal hidden or had to see crack or etching in scrolls and tablets. Though when she is feeling a tad mischievous or a need to dodge the Trickster paparazzi she will alter the shadows around herself and the surrounding darkness to slip away while the other dragons are busy searching in the dark.
