Clover

Clover is a writer for hatchlings' storybooks where illustrations are done by several artists in the clan (mostly Jexica). Many of his books are the equivalent of how goofy some Dr. Suess books can get since well many objects in the story get that good old fashion Aether charm. Haven't you heard the story about the small vermin you gave a chocolate bread circle to (If you gave a mouse a cookie).

Clover loves to write, mostly because any mistakes he makes are just snacks for him. Though he loves writing stories that'll help young hatchlings grow up with remarkable animations and life lessons and that parents can read and enjoy with their hatchlings. Clover's stories are also beloved by young hatchlings since the naming conventions of the characters and scenery. He also likes working with Luna to inspire stories off her marked locations. He often joins her on her trips with Electrum or reads her articles often to help inspire his stories. He also takes inspiration from his mate Pepper who loves to make and experiment many new recipes. Often Clover tries these new recipes and adds Peppers experimental dishes to the environment especially in dining area scenes. Pepper also shows Clover Frost decorating skills from the Latta Blends. Clover sometimes shares his ideas where Frost tries to decorate his cakes to match his sketches. The Nocturnes running the Latta Blends also love for Clover to come in a taste test for them especially since Pepper cooks for Clover and herself and she is quite the famous cook.

Clover's tail usually becomes more animate whenever he is in his brainstorming mood. Pepper can usually notice these signs and prepares him some snacks for his thinking brain. Though his tail gets agitated and begins wrapping around in knots whenever he gets stumped. Whenever Pepper notices this she often takes Clover on a walk or has him take a break to try her new recipes or something else fun together. Once he gets relaxed Clover is able to think clearly and often thinks up a new addition to his story. Pepper can tell when he is excited as his tail will light back up and sometimes in more than just one color. In fact, this is the ability that Clover possess. While Aether's emotions are contained in the whip appendage in their tail, Clover's do too but with his mood being present in the colors he exerts from his tail almost like a mood ring. Although the little whip-like appendages do contribute to the light show. As the tail whip swirls around the colors mix and can produce images of what Clover might be thinking about. This also makes it even easier for Pepper to tell what he is thinking.

Clover additionally spends much time trying his best to not have his roommates eat his stories. While Pepper is the most tolerable at not eating paper (since she gets to eat recipes on order tickets) Patchi and Goldie can be rough to say the least (especially Goldie). Most of Goldie's work revolves around her not eating the relics and scrolls she transcribes which means Clover has to get creative when hiding his stories. Which is sort of his specialty. Clover often leaves trails of notes all over the Aether nest to distract his roommates while he goes to hide his treasured books in his secret safe. Though due to his abilities making him quite literally an open book, Pepper is the only one he trusts to hide them for him. Luckily his roommates still think he is the one hiding them.
