Biography
The unofficial leader of Stormshroud, Naiad has been a member since it’s founding. She takes the time to get to know each newcomer to the Clan, be they seeking permanent residence or temporary refuge. She loves her children dearly, but views all other young of the Clan with as much value and importance as she gives her own blood offspring. As the Nature representative for the Mages’ Council, Naiad speaks for all other Nature flighted dragons in the Clan, and works with each of them and with the other Mages to insure that problems are solved in a way that appeases as many people as possible. Most would describe the Skydancer as non-confrontational, passive, or even submissive. Those who’ve seen her take on hoards of enemy raiders to defend her clan in combat - or fiercely fight for their rights in negotiations - know otherwise.

• tends many of the clan’s gardens, growing various sorts of plants for food, medicine, and decoration • her name is well known and respected among the nearby beastclans and has made many allies and friends among them • knows almost every dragon in Stormshroud on some level, she likes to personally welcome newcomers to the Clan, and spends a lot of her free time getting to know the residents • advocates very strongly for the case that all beings deserve humane treatment and respect, whether they be dragons, sentient beastclans, or prey species • has taken a vow of nonviolence: most threats can be handled through peaceful, diplomatic means, and there are ways to restrain would-be combatants without causing them harm. She has broken her vow only once, and it still weighs heavily on her conscience • her past before being taken in by Stormshroud’s original founding pair seems to be a mystery - it’s certainly not something she’ll bring up out of the blue
