Cerussite the Seamster

I. Hatched to a representative mother, Cerussite always had a lot of pressure on his shoulders, but his mother squashed that out of his mind. His mother was determined to let him choose his own path, and told him that if any dragon abused him, he should attack them back.

However, Cerussite grew up with anxiety. His great-grandmother Corrente would always try to deny him due to being the son of an outsider, and he couldn't break free from it. He often stayed in his cave, refusing to leave unless his father took him out to shop or something else. It was on one such of these expeditions that he met Elspeth, a dragoness in a similar position to him.

II. Elspeth was terrified of other dragons, she didn't want to leave her cave either. Cerussite and Elspeth got along immediately, bonding over complaining about being forced to be social. Elspeth just wanted to stay in her garden all day long and grow her food, while Cerussite just wanted to make clothes. They grew closer, and Cerussite's parents were very happy to see him leaving to meet a dragon and instead of staying inside all the time.

One day while going out shopping for new materials, Cerussite was confronted by Sidanyis and Abbas who, despite being related to him, were unhappy with his blood. They started to bully him, acting as though he was lesser as if he didn't deserve a place near them. They were able to get under his scales, and Cerussite lashed out, attacking Sidanyis and giving him the scar on his face. Although he felt bad at first, he realized he didn't need to. If they were going to abuse him, he could fight back.

III. His parents weren't entirely proud of him, but they knew he did what he needed to in order to protect himself. When Corrente brought him to a court, Aislinn sided with Sidanyis, but in order to spite the Winchester, she made sure that Cerussite would provide for the entire Empire... by gardening alone with Elspeth for an entire month. The only dragons who could visit him would be his parents.

Needless to say, it was a blessing for Cerussite.
