Sleipnir is the most placid of his siblings, which is fortunate because, as Odin's assistant, he is certainly the most put-upon!

His role involved ferrying his diminutive superior the length and breadth of the Lundlaevungar territory in accordance with his slightest whims, and providing a literal platform on which he may deliver his many and varied opinions. What this practically means is that the little fae can most often be found sitting between Sleipnir's shoulder-blades or (if particularly wound-up about something) on top of his head.

Sleipnir is very patient about it.

He knows very well that

Without doubt, Sleipnir is the most placid of all his siblings -- which is fortunate, because by most dragons' standards he would be considered the most put-upon: he is Odin's assistant.

This role involves ferrying Odin the length and breadth of the Lundlaevungar territory in accordance with his slightest whims, and providing a literal platform on which his diminutive superior stands to deliver his many and varied opinions. Odin spends a great deal of time standing atop Sleipnir's back between his folded wings, but when particularly riled, he has been known top hop up onto his head for a little extra height.

Height is certainly something he has in abundance. Like all his siblings, Sleipnir was overexposed to Arcane energy before he hatched, and for him the result was not only a shifted form but also abnormally long limbs. His wingspan, height and length are well above average, even for a natural Skydancer. Thankfully, it is a boon rather than a disability and, as a result, he is preternaturally swift both on land and in the sky.

It is common knowledge that Odin asked Sleipnir to assist him because of these attributes, and for his apparently biddable temperament.

What is less well-known is

. It is also rumoured that Loki and Angrboda allow it in the hopes that their son's easygoing nature would rub off on his pompous bond-uncle. Unfortunately, it hasn't worked yet - or at least, not so that anyone has noticed.



Sleipnir bears the indignity without complaint.

Sleipnir's soothing presence does work on others, however. He has worked out that, in addition to the usual ability to sense emotions, he has the power to neutralise them. It is not something he does often, however, as he feels conflicted about using Ng this power without consent or knowledge He remains close to is younger clutch-brother Fenrir, and helps him to deal with the burden of his Arcane mutations as best he can.

Kaerr

Just a little guy! A child!
Actually not naughty at all. Rule-follower.
LOVES his dads. ADORES his big bro.
Mute - we're not sure why?? Theoretically can talk (all the stuff is there and in working order) but he just does not.
Sign Language is his primary mode of communication.
Lots of dragons in the Lundlaevungar (and pretty much everyone in the Spire) at least have a basic understanding of the signs and can attempt a few if necessary.

More or less fluent: Loki, Angrboda, Ena, Sigyn, the other kids (Perria, Pziz)
Daell is complicated: he is blind and Kaerr is mute. So, how work? WELL. Daell ordinarily cannot "see" magic (he wasn't born with that ability) BUT his father, Einmyrir, does have that. Since he was blinded, Daell HAS become able to "sense" magic. He doesn't see it visually but he has an awareness of where it is, particularly in strong concentrations. (They suspect this is how he knew about Nera too." It only works up-close and with concentrated bursts of magic. HOWEVER, Kaerr is FULL of magic, because of his non-Common eyes! And he has Runes, which is another outward expression of magic, concentrated on his hands! Therefore, Daell can "sense" the movement of his fingers and understand the signs that way!!!

Kaerr joined the clan shortly after the events that became knownh as the Bounty of the Elements. It was a complicated time for the Lundlaevungar. The whole clan was shocked by the magical upheaval that transformed the Crystalspine Reaches, and fearful of the rumours that dragons' eyes were affected by the resurgence of power along Sornieth's long-dormant ley lines. However, there were some, including one of the clan's founders, Loki, whe were equally curious about and excited by these developments, even as they were horrified by them.


During the Bounty of the Elements, Loki's eyes shifted colour to a deeper, more purple shade of pink, which better reflects his nature, as somewhere between Arcane and Shadow.

CORVUS

Corvus has always loved treasure, but not for the reasons anyone might expect. It's not about wealth, but rather an appreciation of the colour of the gold, the way the coins sound as they clink together, and the cool smooth feel of them against his claws.
Loves gold - not because of its monetary value, but for how it looks/feels
Same for gemstones! (Also semi-precious ones). Moonstone is his favourite because of course it is.

The Starwood Strand's Night Markets are the stuff of legend - not least because those who manage to find them and then make their way home safely are few and far between.

Yet for those willing to risk getting lost in the eternal starry twilight of the woods, a unique and unforgettable experience awaits. The merchants who ply their trade here are an unusual bunch: some say that they have spent too long beneath the glimmering birches, and begun to believe their own illusions. Others call them nothing more than tricksters and con artists ...


Citta hails from the floating markets of Flotsam Town. She hatched on board a traders' barge with bartering in her blood.

Everything that can be bought or sold passed through her claws as she honed her craft, and she eventually gained a reputation. She found she had a way for brokering deals that left all parties with exactly what they wanted or needed, between dragons and clans, sometimes without even needing her disparate clients to meet.
