Melehtë

Melehtë is a Guard with an strong desire to look after those he deems weaker than himself, predominantly smaller breeds like Faes and Veils, as well as hatchlings and small familiars.↠ he / him

It is 3am and I am exhausted but I shall write some notes about his character while I'm feeling inspired (the following may be garbage).
Backstory:
As a hatchling, he was under the care of his older brother, a strong and impressive young Imperial. Melehtë was always a timid hatchling, who hid under his kindly brother's wing. His brother had a gentle soul in a fighter's body, as always assured Melehtë he would be safe by his side. His brother kept his promise; but became ill as Melehtë was reaching adulthood. His once-powerful brother had to rely on Melehtë, weakening each day as illness took its hold, all while Melehtë grew larger and stronger. Melehtë was powerless to help his disease, but stayed faithfully by his side until the end. After his brother's death, he became obsessed with caring for those he deemed "weak", often regardless of whether his protection was needed or desired. He is bossy and . He assures himself that he doesn't look down on these dragons- after all, he respected his brother above all else, even when he was too weak to fly- but he can be overbearing and patronising.
Present:
He constantly pushes people away with his obsession to protect and control those around him. He doesn't have a great reputation amongst the lair's he has visited. He often gets a cold shoulder, but he helps out where he can before moving on to find someone who will accept him. He has had many familiars in the past, but they all run away from him. Due to all of this, and the death of his brother, he probably has a pretty big abandonment complex.
He will also have a bond with one small (maybe Verie?) Outskirts dragon who will hopefully help him grow :)
Random notes:
↠ he is not good with hatchlings at all, and doesn't particularly like them outside of his complex to protect them
↠ he's not all that smart- he's not really kind enough to be a himbo (he has good motivations (sort of)! just poor implementation!) but he's almost got that vibe
↠ on a surface level he gets along well with big or strong dragons, but he craves looking after people weaker than himself (at least he has some friends though)
↠ was originally 'CrimsonRain', a Hua Cheng fandragon
