Solsetur grew up on the mountainside, where he could fly around during the sunset and he'd be more or less camouflaged. He got tired of living there though, and wanted to find other dragons, so he moved down the mountain into the forest. Shortly after joining the clan, he fell heels over wings for Mera, but she's either oblivious or uninterested. She humors him though, but when he tries to tag along with her on hunts, she does get a bit annoyed, as he is not camouflaged at all, and his bright colors alert any prey before she can sneak up on it.
He still tried his hardest to woo her though, and brings her flowers and gemstones for her hoard. His familiar helps to dig far stones, and Solsetur makes sure only the nicest ones are presented to Mera. She definitely likes the stones more than the flowers, and at long last she finally accepted his offers. They're a happy couple, and nothing can get between them. For all that Solsetur looks dainty, he is fiercely protective of Mera, as well as their son Pyrrhus and the rest of the clan.
