Personality: Cobalt is straightforward and honest, the kind of dragon who sets her mind to her ideals and can never be swayed from them. The most important thing to her is looking out for dragons who don’t have anyone else to look out for them, dragons who have no place to call home or who society has shunned or looked down on for whatever reason. This belief is what led her to start the Outcasts. She sees her clan as her family, and it’s her charge as well—the thing that she would give her life to protect. Backstory: |

R E L A T I O N S H I P S
Comet
Comet is her mate and her best friend. While they often have different approaches to the clan’s problems, they both respect and value each other’s opinions deeply. |
Decency
They’re close friends who like to tease each other. Cobalt is one of very few dragons who has gotten to see Decency when he’s vulnerable, without his usual self-assured walls up, and knowing that he places that kind of trust in her is unimaginably valuable to Cobalt. |
Orion
They’re good friends, and trust and respect each other deeply. When Cobalt has something complicated weighing on her mind, she knows that she can come to Orion and even if he doesn’t have answers, she knows that he will at least listen and think it over carefully before offering whatever advice he can. |
Solien
While they disagree about virtually everything, he respects her in some ways for how committed she is to her ideals (one thing they have in common). Despite the fact that they are, or should be, enemies, Cobalt has always treated him with kindness and continues to believe that he’s not beyond redemption. He didn’t want this, and would never admit it—but she is, in some ways, the closest thing he has to a friend. |

Kya really admires Cobalt’s tenacity and strong morals, and considers her a close friend. Cobalt is… less convinced of this. She finds Kya a bit overbearing, doesn’t like how much she makes herself at home in Cobalt’s clan whenever she stops by, and disapproves of her thievery. Still, she makes an effort to be cordial for the sake of diplomacy, and even she has to reluctantly admit that Kya is a good captain who cares about her crew in a very similar way to how Cobalt cares about her clan. |
