Alcarain

↠ Noble
In front of most, Alcarain is ever peaceful, and the type of dragon that many look up to for his patience and gentle demeanour. However, beneath his benevolent exterior, is a begrudging and often childish dragon who is in constant battle with his 'arch-nemesis', Ruimen.
____Both born to noble families, Ruimen and Alcarain have been rivals since they were hatchlings, with the two often being compared for their exceptional courage, strength and intelligence. While Ruimen always seemed to be praised more for his intelligence, Alcarain often succeeded in strength, and yet was still unable to fully best Ruimen in combat. Simply being the strongest was not enough for the Imperial, and he continues to push himself to win against Ruimen.
____Whenever the two meet, they fight dramatically, but it is often a tie or, if one does happen to make the other surrender, it is always reversed the next time they meet. They are certainly very evenly matched.
____After the battle, the two often seem inseparable, with Alcarain begrudgingly offering to tend to Ruimen's wounds, much to the others' amusement. Watching this, one might almost think Alcarain was in denial of his true feelings, although Ruimen hasn't been all to transparent about his own feelings either, preferring to be patient and see where things go.

____Aside from his Gaoler lover rival, Alcarain spends a lot of his time with his cousin X, who is as close as a brother to him. Although the Skydancer is older, X is meeker and has a poor constitution, often ducking under Alcarain's wing when things get intense.
