Biography
Some dragons don't care about 'good' or 'bad.' They just want to know.
Hatesinger (they/he) does not generally go by their name, as 'Hatesinger' was simply a mean title placed upon them by the 'jealous' and the 'cowardly' because of their 'brilliant research'.
If one must use their titles, they prefer the myriad others: the Allmaw; the Collector; or perhaps even a nice, simple 'Court Sorcerer' will do much better. They're not big on formalities.
They very much resemble any other Fae dragon, apart from how very few of them tend to associate with the Plaguemother and Her blights. The Collector, however, was hatched there and thus never knew any reason not to enjoy them just as much as any of his kin might have enjoyed their homelands. In fact, his strange scale patterning is a result of exposure to chemical experiments of their own when they were very young. His initial attempts to combine natural Fae-and-fairy magicks with nearly any part of the blightlands were usually unfortunate, to say the least.
Insatiably curious and friendly, and most importantly ill-inclined to cause harm to anyone (on purpose) when they could instead learn from them, Hatesinger has--against all odds, considering his nature as a Fae--earned a reputation as being one of the finest of the Plaguemother's many sworn-spies. They have stolen many a tome and spell and treasure, albeit without very much ill intent right up until they just decided to do so (and next to never with violence).
The tall tales and favorite stories from around the Defilers' clanfires insist that the sorcerer had even spent some years wandering the Starfall Isles. Just... out of the blue. Gone for years. They apparently 'had a question' and then 'got lost'.
The magical know-how and other various secrets that he returned with was apparently worthy of his clan's patience. He wants to get this just right, but once he finishes his very first disease, it will be worth the wait!
