HISTORY ◆ Born in a small village near Amaranthine ◆ Grew up largely secluded from anyone but his parents due to his father's apostate status; adopted a quiet and serious nature to keep the secret ◆ When he was five years old his mother gave birth to twins, Bethany and Carver; Cassius helped to look after them ◆ Only a couple of years later, the family's dynamics shifted once again when Cassius manifested his own magic ◆ Cassius then spent most of his time with his father, learning to master his magic - and to conceal it ◆ The family settled once again into routine, and again it was disrupted - this time by Bethany's first use of magic, unfortunately in a very noticeable way ◆ They fled to Lothering, where they managed to live in relative peace for a number of years ◆ Then, his father Malcolm fell ill - and later died, the town's herbalist and Cassius and Bethany's weak healing magic no match for the sickness ◆ When Cassius was 24, the Blight came and drove them from Lothering - losing Bethany in the process CHOICES ◆ brought Carver to the Deep Roads and delivered him to the Wardens when he caught the blight ◆ killed the Arishok in single combat ◆ allied with the mages ◆ asked Anders to fight by his side to protect Kirkwall’s mages |
