HISTORY ◆ Born to one of the clan's hunters, and quickly took to exploring the wilderness - often evading the hahren's watchful eye to do so ◆ Apprenticed as a hunter himself until his thirteenth year, when his magic manifested surprisingly late ◆ The clan already had a First to their Keeper in Nomikh, who'd been brought to the clan since they lacked their own young mages ◆ Reluctant to lead and acutely aware of his inexperience with magic, he happily remained Second instead ◆ Ayhan took to learning lore easily, even adapting a shorthand to help him keep careful notes ◆ Magic, however, came with difficulty - he struggled to temper his emotions at the best of times, and this led to outbursts of wild magic in his frustration ◆ Nomikh offered a suggestion: smaller spells, for utility rather than combat. With a more controlled structure already in place, the theory finally clicked for him ◆ From there he advanced steadily, and he and Nomikh became all but inseparable ◆ When the clan heard of the Conclave, the Keeper debated which apprentice to send to observe - settling on Ayhan, counting on his caution of humans to protect him CHOICES ◆ allied with rebel mages ◆ left Stroud in the Fade ◆ allied with the Grey Wardens ◆ Celene and Briala rule together ◆ drank from the Well of Sorrows |
