Somewhere off the beaten path, near the village and the farmland, is a strange copse of fragrant flowering trees. Some have even begun to bear fruit. Some say these trees are kinda eerie and that sometimes they appear to have moved since eyes were last laid upon them. Kucho says there's nothing to worry about and says they just want more visitors to share their shade with.

The fruits this tree bears are described as a pleasant perfect combination of both sweet and sour, a favorite among the hatchlings and adults alike. Most cherries grown in this region tend to get 'overripe' and rot very quickly, but for some unknown reason that doesn't seem to be the case with this variety, lending them to longer storage times and unique culinary applications not usually found elsewhere in plague. The 'fresh' cherry wine and 'fresh' cherry pies are common picks.

Visitors are allowed to pick as many as they care to, but are encouraged to be gentle and considerate when doing so. There's stories of mysterious splinters and being knocked by swaying branches by those who do not follow those rules. It's probably just the wind but...
