When someone passes among this clan they are laid to rest to their wishes, to the best of the clan's ability. Often this means interment within the Hall of Silenced Echoes, which is a large local cave system turned tomb. It's a dark, cool but dry place lit only with those blue soul catching candles Naexys favors.

It's a common game among the children to dare each other to see how long they can remain within the Hall of Silenced Echoes before they get too scared- a whole night is the most frequent bet. Sometimes though if you're really quiet you might hear a whisper or two. Sometimes the children swear they see the mummies move in the dark. But maybe it's just the wind or a trick of the cerulean tinted light.

Sometimes the mummies wish the children were a little quieter in their visits.
