Do you know what real fear looks like?
Well, neither does Agent Vasyl. The USR's most controversial primal to date.

Vasyl was a very expensive investment, but one that paid off. Her playful, dark, demeanor aside, she is an incredible asset to the organisation. With no other being able to match her in her level of stealth and skill in ~~both overland and~~ (Agent Barwyn has been proven to hold the superior record, something Agent Vasyl is incredibly 'salty' about) underwater traversal. It is due to this skill that she is sent out on missions so often, frequently being sent into the most dangerous of territories.

Thankfully so, as she cannot sit still to save her life. On base, there have been repeated reports of her shenanigans. Most frequently causing trouble for the Light Division and their researchers. If it weren't for the iron grip of Agent Mordaine and the bullying of her brother, Agent Riersin, justifying her continued position as a Primal would have been difficult. Even if she was sponsored directly.

Report on Retrieval from the Forum of the Obscured Crescent

The liquid retrieved from the locale has been analysed by the biological and magical labs. Both of which came to the same conclusion: that it is made of something not of this world. Through many experiments, it has been determined that any clairvoyant powers that the pool might have once had is now defunct, no doubt intentionally by the Shadowbinder.

Researcher Con. has posited the theory that the repeated exposure of both moonlight and junk has turned the waters into something eldritch in nature. This is supported by the space-time anomalies that pocket the area, such as the previously discovered Sunportal in the Tangled Wood area that connects to its sister Moonportal by the Sunbeam Ruins.

The truth however, is unknown as of this time of writing. While there is no doubt that the clarivoyant powers of the pool would be extremely useful, it seems that the Shadowbinder is determined to make it so that none can make use of it. As such, permanent watch is to be made over this area, in the meantime, for any potential changes.

Timeline:

0600H - The agent enters the area under the cover of daybreak

0700H - Agent reports the area being vacated and goes ahead with the plan

0720H - Agent begins their descent

0740H - Agent reports the feeling of being watched as they descend into the first 15 m (50~ ft) into the pool

0750H - After reporting that the waters seem to be getting thicker and that they can see the bottom of the pool, communication between agent and base at this time goes dark, around a depth of 30 m (100~ ft)

1100H - The second spy team is mobilised to stand by in case of mission failure

1300H - Agent reemerges from the pool much later on with several vials of the liquid from its depths and various aged artefacts. The subsequent findings are contained and agent is extracted
