A dragon born with the quest to find where she would belong, Gwenwyn was never a person to stay within one place for a longer period of time. Her youth was mostly spent travelling the Nature flight’s region and making acquaintances with a great many dragons. Early on Gwenwyn realised her own aptitude for diplomacy - she had an ability to make others talk as well as listen to her, and it’s a skill she’s used all her life to influence the outcome of various situations. When the lands of the Nature flight grew small for her own liking, she took to exploring Sornieth in solace for years. She would always find a comforting side of a dragon if she wished, but her mind was always filled with restlessness, of something about to happen. She was searching for a higher calling which eluded her in every situation. Nothing clicked with her yearning - not until Gwenwyn met Arivia, a guardian dragon with a vision. Feeling truly connected for the first time with another dragon, Gwenwyn felt like she had found what she had been looking for in the self-titled matriarch, and has ever since stayed by her side as well as travelled in her name all around the land. She is Arivia’s ears and eyes outside of the Clan, and her role as the second-in-command is unquestioned. Gwenwyn holds a lot of power in her hands, but she’s always been smart enough to use it successfully.

. Gwenwyn knew of Arivia's displeasure at her former prime consort, the fae dragon Kashee, and was actively looking for a better match to suit her matriarch's needs. Gwenwyn created a plan with Arivia and Raighyuu to force Kashee into serving the Arcanist or face eviction by masking the act into a loving favor for the matriarch.

. Gwenwyn found Koenig, a wandering imperial, during her travels, who impressed her with his power. She brought the male to matriarch Arivia, who was very pleased for such a formidable male to have interest in her Clan. Gwenwyn proposed Koenig to take Kashee's place, and was surprised when Arivia suggested that she herself take him as a consort instead. There are no overly romantic feelings between the two, as Gwenwyn is more focused on bringing Arivia's vision to life than building up a life-long partnership. She respects Koenig, but is not attracted to him.

. Gwenwyn questions Arivia's trust in Edenia, the secretive mystic, who claims to have come to their Clan after seeing the ripples of Arivia's vision through her clairvoyance. She is not fond of the other female and does not shy from showing it.

. Edenia's powers summoned the skydancer Tempo to arrive at the Clan's lands. Following the call more due to curiosity rather than forcefully made to, the male has caught Gwenwyn's interest. Tempo has made it clear that he is very much interested in her, and through Arivia they were accepted as mating partners - much to Koenig's rage.

Gwenwyn is intelligent, sharp-eyed, and above all else, charming to the point of being irresistible. She knows that her looks and flawless manners serve her well, and she uses these abilities for the better of her Clan and especially her matriarch, Arivia. She has an undying loyalty and devotion to the great guardian dragoness, and is privy to all her secrets. Acting as Arivia's second in command, Gwenwyn is the second highest ranking dragon in the Clan.

. The three hatchlings produced from Gwenwyn's and Koenig's first nest were named Gunwa, Khoran and Gwinnia. Matriarch Arivia had forged alliances with powerful clans from both the Plague flight and the Shadow flight. It was inevitable that some of Gwenwyn's own children would be sent to their allies to serve, and thus Gunwa left for the Plague flight and Khoran to the Shadow, soon after they had hatched. Only Gwinnia stayed, yet Gwenwyn is not very motherly over her last remaining offspring.

Kherr

. Gwenwyn has been unhappy with her consort, and thus on a diplomatic mission to their allied Plague clan, a young and unexperienced pearlcatcher by the name of Kherr caught her eye. She enjoyed the innocence of the boy and took him as her lover during her time with the clan. During the dalliance Gwenwyn gave birth to one egg. She has not told anyone except the matriarch that this egg hatched and revealed a healthy girl, who was named Gwerryn. Gwenwyn had no trouble leaving the daughter onto Kherr's care, and has since returned home greatly invigorated by this affair.

. After Tempo was accepted as Gwenwyn's mating partner, the pair spent very intimate and heat-ridden months in the nesting grounds, enjoying the time to get to know each other before any mating acts. Together they produced one egg, from which twin dragons were born. Named Wynne and Temerran, it was soon seen that it was better for them to grow independent from each other. Wynne was sent to another clan, while Temerran stayed for a while. Soon he too found a home in another clan.
