Biography

ABSALON
a heated up blacksmith

clumsy | unaware | lucky

rfkcGCw.pngjqv1wuF.png21438.png

For miles along miles, the warm, orange glow of Absalon's forge stretches along the cold white desert of Edel. To be a blacksmith in an otherwise almost empty landscape is a daring business, but Absalon has seemingly nowhere else to go due to his excessively and unnaturally warm body temperature. The permanent chilled snow of Edel seems to be the only thing keeping Absalon from cooking himself from the inside out, so to Edel he must be sentenced to live. Of course he wanted to stay with his family back in the upper world to carry on his father's own forge, but ever since a particular accident that involved very hot molten metal and the insides of Absalon was he given such a curse. Because of this constant warmth though, he provides hugs for any freezing travelers and a piece of metal warmed by his own body heat as a claw-warmer. His life in Edel, if you ignore the occasional loneliness and bouts of nihilism, is comfortable. His body heat allows him to traverse the desert quite easily, snow melting beneath his claws if he lingers for long enough. Absalon specializes in making armor for warriors though from distant lands, from which he must deliver in usually week long trips to a meeting place; although he can also dabble in decorative armor if given time.

RELATIONSHIPS
74052283p.png GLACIAN - accident
On one of Absalon's delivery trips, he decided to set up camp near a lake for a night. The very lake that contained the frozen body of Glacian. And knowing his warmth, Absalon woke up to a melted lake and an Ancient on the loose.

When the armor is too much to carry by himself, he usually calls upon Vast to help him fare his products across the land. Absalon gives her in return upgrades to her chariot.
