It was an already horrid day when Aishling got her first prophecy. A storm has been rumbling in the background ever since she entered class and after her mad dash home, her robes were soaked through and her scrolls were damp with the ink smudging and drooling onto the scrolls. So when Aishling finally got home, the moment she stepped into her home she was hit with an unbearable amount of pain all over her body. And as Aishling's mind warped her between reality and fiction, somehow, glimpses and pockets of times she hasn't ever experienced started flitting into her view. Experiences that seemingly don't even fit into her own life, experiences that seem either too colossal or too different for her own eyes to ever see. She continued to writhe on her bed for a week, pains snaring around her entire body and visions of too many lives that aren't her own. When Aishling finally managed to reflect on what had just happened to her, she realized she must have been a prophet; a dragon able to harness the visions and experiences of spirits any point in time. And when Aishling combed through the history of her family, she wasn't alone in her new profession, instead finding that every few generations or so, a prophet would appear. Aishling's new gift spread quickly through her village, now being glorified by her town as more dragons came to see the famed Aishling.
