Glacian was frozen beneath the lake long before the Ancients were imprisoned, fallen into it centuries ago as their body was slowly frozen over. But when Absalon unknowingly freed them with his hotter than usual natural body heat, Glacian started wreaking havoc across Edel to fill their hunger from his involuntary hibernation. Glacian is even more powerful than most Ancients, who are already stronger than an average dragon as their claws and spines were sharpened by ice freezing over them. This came at the cost of them not being able to use their wings anymore as they're too weighed down by frost, although Glacian never used their wings much in their life anyways. While they have had a couple close calls involving Aerie, they have managed to escape unscathed by diving back into the icy lakes that once trapped him.

Glacian has been hunted by Aerie almost a day after he came to surface in Edel again. They've gotten used to Aerie's tactics, but they still won't ever feel safe knowing she will still hunt them every single second she's awake.
