Quartermaster of the Coelacanth Crew, inhabiting the clock "tower" carved into the side of the Trench. It looms above the abyss, one of its dual faces turned inwards to the cave where the Crew makes their home, while the other faces outward to the depths. Syzygy's primary role is to keep the time. However, since the clocktower is located above the Crew's storerooms, she also makes note of individual Crew members' requests for various sundry items. These she then forwards to those who manage the storerooms, and it's all a very tidy little system.

She does like to keep things tidy, after all. It wouldn't do to fall behind.

That's how people things are lost.
