"If that is what my Master wishes, then that is my command." |
xx | If asked about his life before his service to Rukh, Persimmon wouldn't be able to answer. Logically, he knows he did have a life, as all mortal dragons did, but his memory begins at his raising. Rukh is a necromancer and god, and when he raised Persimmon back to the mortal realm from the realm of the dead, Persimmon became bound to the his will. He serves as Rukh's personal guard, protecting him from any who might wish him harm. Thanks to the undead warrior's unearthly strength and dexterity, there are few who could stand in his way, and even fewer who could best him in battle. |
xx | Persimmon is unique when it comes to Rukh's necromantic experiments. Unlike the other undead puppets, he possesses a will of his own and the ability to speak. Despite this, he is compelled to follow his Master's orders to the letter, unspoken promises of pain from the whispers of the realm of the dead if he were to disobey. Additionally, Persimmon can be dismissed and resummoned without the complex rituals to raise a being from scratch, though even he doesn't know where he goes when he is dismissed. All he remembers is the sensation of floating, shadowy figures on the edges of his vision, and incomprehensible whispers in his ears. When Rukh was stripped of his godhood and fell from the Heavens, he immediately summoned Persimmon for protection, and has rarely allowed the warrior away since. |
xx |
The peacefulness of the Deep Wood is very strange to Persimmon, as are the other dragons there that try to converse with him. For most of his 'life,' the only dragon he interacted with was his Master, but now he gets a glimpse into the lives of others. It has awoken strange new feelings within Persimmon, who now has a name for his own wants and desires. He could never voice such things to Rukh though, too fearful of his Master's response to such things. So he simply keeps quiet, watching and dreaming of having his own life free from the desires of others. |

「 extras 」 » While his frightful appearance and undead status scares most away, he is actually a very curious and gentle dragon. » Attis is the closest being he would consider a friend. |
