Ishtar

- Transman, uses he/they pronouns.
- Used to be in a happy relationship with another man, but it was disrupted by a mage who cursed him to be a mud monster when he rejected his advances. (Because they were already in a loving relationship, and because the mage viewed Ishtar as a woman). Left his former partner in order to protect him, because they feared they would no longer be lovable.
- Was found by Missy, who gave his curse strength that allowed Ishtar to turn on the mage and kill him. Also uses their new form now to kill abusers.
- Made a home among Plaguemother's Spurned and was granted temporary sanctuary as he feels too ugly and rejected to make a home among most other dragon societies. Isn't allowed to be there permanently on account of not being an aberration, but is a sort of honorary member.
- Gets drawn to the Disciples of Shui for two reasons: 1) He falls for Izel, who teaches them that they can still be loved. 2) He has his sights set on the ultimate abuser: Shui.
