Destiny

A young Tundra stands frozen in time in what used to be his den. The cave has been cleared of most posessions - the most useful, like his tools and books, were long since dispersed amongst the clan members who continue to treat them with the reverence they deserve. The last of Destiny's worldly treasures rest in a chest against the wall, shrouded by a thin dropcloth. The dragon himself huddles in the center of the room, a pose that shows great fear yet great courage. It's been many years since the terrifying event in which Destiny gave the last of his power to protect his home, yet the last vestiges of his inner flame still float within his body, illuminating his eyes and tail. The cave remains open so that those who know their way through the winding tunnels may come to pay their respects, which can be seen by the fine jewels that adorn the statuesque dragon's body.
