Clan Battle Mage & Scolia Master of Magical Combat

Matho was hatched as one of the first offspring of the SeaRuffle clan. From an early age, his innate sensitivity to magical energies led him to explore the craft and practice of magecraft. However, sitting in a study poring over arcane volumes did little to satisfy his desire to practice actively what he learned privately--and so Matho began to study battle magics. Over time, Matho has become SeaRuffle's foremost mage, specializing in healing and offensive magics. For those hunters desiring to explore the Golem's Workshop, Matho is their first choice of companion--a necessity for those dragons who want to return home whole and healthy. Courteous, ambitious, and driven, Matho also enjoys tinkering with the loot brought back from the Golem's Workshop. This hobby irritates Mizunei, the clan's engineer, whose supplies and tools are under occasional threat of raids from Matho. So far, nothing he has tried to create--in the mechanical way--works, but he has plans. Much of his energy was redirected upon the clan's foundation of Fishspine Scolia. Sandcastle almost immediately invited Matho to become its Master of Magical Combat. He agreed, and is a merciless, exacting taskmaster who sets high standards and expects his students to exert themselves accordingly. Those who do are rewarded by gaining a deep understanding not only of combat spells, offensive and defensive, but of the tactics that best support their use. |
