▾ One of three gods associated with death of the Pharaonic pantheon, Anubis presides over the afterlife and judges the souls of the dead.
▾ Anubis can be worshiped anywhere, but his most notable center of worship is the kingdom of Faratara.
▾ In Faratara, there is a temple dedicated to Anubis located by the cemetery. Its leader is always a cleric specially chosen by Anubis, and he would make his choices known by granting a newborn the ability to change into a jackal-headed werewolf with black fur.
▾ Once a month during the full moon, Anubis communes with his cleric in Faratara while they succumbed to their lycanthropy.
▾ Clerics under Anubis oversee the mummification of bodies and other rituals while in hybrid form. They are also tasked by Anubis to protect cemeteries from tomb robbers and necromancers.
▾ The current cleric of Anubis in Faratara is a half-elf named Nefer-ra.
