There are many dragons in Sornieth who claim to see the future. Veil is one of the few who can truly do it.

Veil is an oracle hired under the services of the Trickmurk Circus. Travelling from region to region, she offers glimpses of the future through her crystal orb. In the mist filled darkness of her circus tent, lights from seemingly nowhere seems to dance and colour the air in an almost otherworldly colour. Veil should have been the only dragon in there. Yet some customers swear they could see another being. Some sort of... fish. A koi, that seems to dip in and out of sight.

They say it is the source of his powers. That perhaps, Veil could glimpse the future through the koi's ghostly eyes. Others say it came from the future, and whispers portents of events yet to come.

Of course, none of that is true. It's merely just for show.

His visions however, are the real thing. And recently, they have started to become... unsettling. Although Veil attempts to focus his visions on just his client's future, he has started to see the same thing again and again. An ancient ruin, on the edge of Dragonhome. And a great darkness spreading from within.

And after that. Nothing.

Something is happening on Sornieth. And Veil fears that simply glimpsing the future will not be enough.
