Whisper is an enigma even among his own kind. Dwelling in the deepest depths, he's lived most of his life in complete darkness: a bleak setting for most, but one that Whisper calls home. For his shadowed eyes allow him to see through the inky blackness and he shares this space with a plethora of sea creatures, each more bizarre and grotesque than the last. However, rather than fear these beasts, Whisper admires their ability to survive and celebrates their unconventional appearance, complimenting each one he encounters.

Though he had never broken the surface, Whisper has travelled all over Sorneith thanks to hidden passages and obscure currents. He's mapped the depths of every flight, but none fascinate him so much as the Plague Realm. For it's where the most bizarre creatures live, therefore the most beautiful. Whisper sees these beasts as kindred spirits and enjoys swimming alongside them.

However, as much as Whisper treasures his life in the depths, it is plagued with silence. For none of these deep sea creatures can speak his tongue, and Whisper has resigned himself to companionship through observation. Nonetheless, he'd often wish for someone to answer his questions, ask their own, to simply say hello. He got his wish one day when pursuing a carcass cleaner that had abandoned its pack. The chase led Whisper closer to the surface than he'd ever come, and for the first time, he heard voices. Voices of fellow dragons, discussing the Plague Realm's sea life and inquiring of subjects Whisper knew well.

Overcome with excitement, Whisper broke the surface and answered their questions.

A pair of twin orca dragons stared back at him, dumbfounded. They had never seen an undertide before and, embarrassed at the attention, Whisper nearly fled, but the twins were quick to stop him. They smiled in tandem and introduced themselves. Johnathan and Mina were their names, and they came from a clan in the Plague Lands. A clan where dragons from all over Sorneith called home. They spoke of an observatory on the territory that housed scholars and adventurers, and invited Whisper to visit.

Whisper easily accepted, and the twins led him to a magnificent observatory that towered over the Plague Lands. Inside dwelt several like-minded dragons: the puzzling Pamela, the studious Shellsplash, and the curious Crystal All eagerly met Whisper and questioned him of his life below. In return, they answered his questions of Sorneith's surface. At last, Whisper enjoyed the company of fellow dragons, and they invited him to study in their ranks: an offer Whisper was eager to take.

Now, he continues to enjoy Sorneith's depths and his aquatic friends, but is always quick to resurface and share his findings with new friends.
