Crystal
paleontologist | curious | tenacious | resilient mate: N/A | PAIR RANGE Though a plague dragon, Crystal spends much of her time in the Southern Icefield. For it is home to Sorneith's most preserved fossils and ancient specimens. Crystal spends her days, seeking out these scenes: extinct creatures trapped in the ice, fossils beneath the layers of frost. For hours, Crystal will explore the ice, pondering of lives long since passed and when she's through, she'll use her claw to dig out smaller fossils for further study. However, these icy fields are not Crystal's home. She still likes to return to the Scarred Wasteland to review her findings and for many years, she ran with a pack of fellow wildclaws. However, this clan was a small one and Crystal's items soon overflowed the clan and cluttered the space, frustrating the wildclaws as they tripped over her supplies and fossils. The clan's leader asked her to either dispose of her collection or leave. Thus, Crystal gathered her items and sought out a larger clan. For many days she wandered the barren wastes when a spiraling tower broke through the haze. It was massive and sound, and Crystal knocked on its grand door. A large, colorful guardian: Shellsplash, answered. Crystal introduced herself and explained that she needed a place to conduct her studies. Should she be allowed to study there, she would be happy to assist with the tower's upkeep or anything else the clan may need. Shellsplash said that he would be happy to oblige, but since he was not the tower's main keeper, it was not up to him. Crystal would have to wait until nightfall for the owners to return, and Shellsplash invited her to stay for dinner. Crystal accepted. Come dinner, she met with the tower's keepers: a peculiar set of twin mirrors named Johnathan and Mina. They were established adventurers and had erected the tower not only to house their own findings but to welcome other curious, like-minded dragons who wished to travel Sorneith. They asked of Crystal's ventures and Crystal showed them one of her many fossils: a skeleton of a long-extinct snow hare. Johnathan and Mina marveled and asked to see more. Crystal obliged and for hours the three pored over her findings. Thus, Johnathan and Mina were more than happy to host her studies, granting her a wing of the tower. Crystal thanked them profusely and moved her items in. Today, Crystal still spends much of her time in the Southern Icefield, but she now has a home to return to and like-minded dragons who are always eager to hear her findings.
