"I just wish I could see them one more time," Nora muttered. "If only to ask why they all... abandoned me."

There was an audible break in her voice as she got the words out, and Selgir instinctively held her a little closer.
History
Eleonora was born the youngest child and only daughter of a pair of sea-faring dragons, imbuing her with a deep love of the wide, wide ocean. She stayed with her parents until adulthood, when her mother and father unexpectedly left Nora in Snapwind and sailed West-- and never returned.

She remembers little of her parents-- and even less of her three brothers, who set off into the world as mercenaries-- though Eleonora had always found comfort in convincing herself that they had all found what they had been looking for.

The Pearlcatcher found her place in the Thornbay Inlet as its harbormaster, coordinating the ships that might visit the inlet while keeping the harbor safe and clean.
Favorite treasures
Ruby
A small shard of ruby; a memento of Eleonora's family. She can oft be seen fidgeting with it when her memories take her back home to Snapwind.
Heart Rose
Few of these tiny roses grow in planters upon the Outlook's porch. Eleonora tends them diligently, for they were grown from seeds given to her by her father.
Scarlet Yuccaweave
Durable, flashy colored rope woven by Aerben, oft used by Nora to practice various knots; a very useful skill to have when working around the Outlook.
