the weaver Location: The Citadel Summit, the atelier  he/him anxious, withdrawn careful, scattered neutral good ♪ Theme ♪ "Good morning, love," Silephen smiled, a fond warmth growing in her chest as her husband leaned in and pressed a kiss to her forehead. "Hello, darling," he gently said. "Did you sleep well?" the tailor then asked, expression falling a little as her husband sat back and slightly averted his eyes. "No. I could not sleep at all," he muttered. "Too restless." "But... I found something to occupy myself with. And my thoughts were, thankfully, not of... the bad things in the dark." Aerben briefly paused, a sudden, deep look of concern gracing his features before he shook his head. "Instead my thoughts were of home," he then quietly continued. |
History
Aerben can more often than not be found at his wife's side-- if only because he has a tendency of getting horribly lost if he ventures too far on his own. In his younger years, Aerben was a sailor; oft leaving on ships that went westward for months on end. Though time and the things he has seen have left him hurt; anxious, forgetful and often withdrawn into the depths of his own mind. Though he fondly remembers his family; Silephen, their son, Keeper-- and though Aerben recognizes the dragon that Keeper has bonded with, he struggles to remember his name. Though thankfully, Wolf does not seem to mind much. Aerben occasionally visits the Thornbay Inlet-- for the path down the mountainside is easy to find and follow, and he knows how to get there on his own. The Skydancer quite enjoys Eleonora's company; for she knows not to ask Aerben many questions, and they oft simply sit together on the Outlook's patio while weaving or mending fishing nets. |
Favorite treasures
Repetitive tasks are known to calm Aerben's frantic thoughts; and knowing that spinning silk for Silephen is helpful to them both is quite reassuring. |
A tough length of tightly knotted rope. Aerben enjoys challenging himself to make new shapes with it every day. |
Silephen's blackberry pies are the best you'll ever have. Promise! Aerben would do anything for a slice. |
