xxxxxOne of Wraith’s finest and most twisted creations. Sebastian, Sebby for short, never should have lived. After all they were never hatched, never an egg. Wraith found the lifelike looking plush deep within the Mire while training Mandos and Landru. And upon seeing its near lifelike appearance, brought it back to the lair. His reasoning, he could give it life, and perhaps gift such a cute hatchling to his estranged partner of the past, Starling. None of their hatchlings remain. Maybe this could replace that hole she felt, that pit that led to her separation from him.

Mandos warned Wraith that such attempts would be foolish, whatever came from trying to put life into such a thing would lead to abomination. The spiral didn’t hear a word the Wildclaw spoke, and the moment he got to the lair he began numerous experiment. After countless failures and attempts, far after everyone else thought the pursuit even worth monitoring for safety, Wraith succeeded. The plushie gained life, gained sentience. At what cost? At what measure? None but Wraith know, and he won’t speak on it. But the young ‘hatchling’ joined the clan, and they were astoundingly cute and limitlessly charming, a perfect fit.

All but Starling have embraced the ever young and super soft hatchling. She fears Sebby, hates what Wraith might have done to appease her, and will have no part in encouraging further actions like this. Though deep within her, she doesn’t fault the hatchling, and would never seek to harm Sebastian. Would even shelter or sacrifice to protect them.

Nell especially loves Sebby. Drawn somehow, as if they’ve known each other in a different life, a separate multiverse that was abundant in suffering. She looks after Sebby much like a mother, and the ‘plague plushie’ as she calls them knows a life of joy, play and comfort. Sebby is also best friends with Sorbet (despite never feeling hunger or needing to eat), and is protective of Marcaunon. The plushie is also a master of Marco and Polo’s games like no other dragon in the lair and Lancelot actually trusts them. And Lancelot never trusts anyone. And Eris might be there master of chaos, but their true powers are unleashed when aided by best friend Sebby. The lair will never be safe again.

Perhaps, by some odd mistake, Wraith has helped make something good?

An unconfirmed rumor speculates that Sebby is the only project Valroth has ever helped Wraith with. Most dragons scoff at the suggestion, the two despise each other, there is no way they would ever collaborate.
