Theresa
explorer | adventurous | curious | kind mate: Tuya Theresa always looked up to her mother, Mina. She spent her early years riding on her back through Sorneith and admiring how Mina braved obstacles with both grace and gusto. When Theresa wasn't traveling with Mina, she romped through the towering observatory. Its trinkets were her playthings and she was raised on stories of great travels and discoveries. She told Mina that she wanted to grow up to be just like her and promised to take up her mantle when it was time to pass the torch. Mina said that was all well but advised that Theresa not concern herself so heavily with her legacy before she had made her own. Theresa considered. She'd never travelled anywhere alone and could not imagine doing so, but she also knew Mina was right. Theresa had come of age and it was time for her to pave her own way. She promised Mina that she would face her own journey and return a worthy successor. The next day, Theresa packed her bags and set off. She started her journey through the Tangled Wood where she familiarized herself with her roots; then to the Sunbeam Ruins where she gathered many unique trinkets; then the Shifting Expanse where she faced her most personal venture. Amidst a raging storm, she wandered through the Thunderhead Savannah. Growing up in the Scarred Wasteland, Theresa was used to such harsh conditions but she paused when she heard what sounded like a hatchling's cry. Theresa navigated the storm and found the source: a baby pale greattusk. He had been separated from his herd and cowered in the raging winds. Theresa rushed to his aid and covered him with her wing. She guided him to a cave and they waited through the storm together, admiring hieroglyphics that lined the walls. The following morning, Theresa sought to reunite the greattusk with his herd but he had already imprinted on Theresa and thought her as his mother. Theresa brought the greattusk back to the Sanctuary and introduced him to its dragons. He took immediately to the Sanctuary and grew to be a valuable asset, moving large items and offering rides to new hatchlings. After her rescue of the greattusk, Theresa faced many more ventures and accumulated her own stories to tell, but she always recalls that stormy night most fondly.
