Biography
Lovely headcannon written by KyuuBird, full lore in progress.

When her egg was first seen, many thought it to be an illusion- arcane eggs are well known for being pink miniature orbs of magic, with a ring resemblant of Saturn's surrounding their center as they occasionally gently begin to hover- and then there was her egg; blue. Indigo, to be exact, dark as the night sky under which her egg lay, sparkling with so much arcane energy that it appeared as if glitter was continuously falling off of the round egg from an unseen source.
And then the hatchling herself was just as beautiful as her egg was: sparkling and overflowing with arcane magic that manifested in her so strongly it was almost palpable (just like her egg "glitter") and her scales being so reflective and glossy that you may as well have been staring into a starry night sky- and she wasn't even born with the well-known star genes Constellation and Starmap. The pearlcatcher was born with magic in her veins and stars in her eyes, and over the years this has certainly not changed one bit.
Her abilities are particularly powerful under a starry night, as if the stars and planets themselves granted her part of their power. But even during sunny days or stormy afternoons, the lass is more than apt at any magical task given to her. After all, she was born a prodigy- something that was hard to miss mere hours after she had been born. Objects began to float around her when she laughed, glass shattered when she cried, and her pearl always glowed ominously as she slept... As if attempting to show her dreams to those who watched over her, like a magical crystal ball would...
