Nightglow

He appeared in the clan so suddenly and unexpectedly, but he settled in as if he'd known the land for years. Nightglow became the talk of the town instantly, so many wondering who he was and what he wanted. Until finally, the clan leader Shadowclaw approached him and asked him what his intentions were. He explained that he'd felt an unyielding yearning to come here, from deep inside his soul. He still wasn't sure why but he had always trusted his intuition and knew he must be here for a reason. Shadowclaw wasn't one to argue with something like that and told him he was welcome to stay if he could find a place to fit in the clan.

Nightglow learned that there were several subregions of the clan that one could belong to. He spent a couple days visiting each, meeting with some of the residents, and trying to decide which was meant for him. Though he made some friends, he still hadn't found what had drawn him here in the first place. So he shrugged and decided to choose the main territory for now. Once he landed, his eyes set on the most beautiful dragon he'd ever seen. She was a Lightning Pearlcatcher, and perhaps to most didn't look like much. She only had two genes, and one of them was an old Tiger gene. But there was just something about her that made her stand out from everyone on Sornieth. And when he looked at her, everything in the world felt right. It was then that he knew it--she was his reason to be here of all places. She was what he was looking for before he knew he was missing anything.

He introduced himself to her respectfully and found that her name was Moonstream and she was the Beta Female of the clan, best friend of the Matriarch, had a son in the clan, and a father-in-law. He also found out that she already had a mate. He respected that and simply expressed that he was new to the clan. She welcomed him but then moved on with her daily chores. Over the next few weeks, he befriended her naturally, and her mate, and even an old mate and friend of hers. He became very fond of all of them, and of all the others he became acquainted with within the clan. Interactions with Moonstream's telepathic sister, Moonchild, helped him learn even more about her and others he'd gotten to know. As Moonchild is both telepathic and intuitive, she got to know Nightglow's true intentions and heart. She also expressed that he might have some latent intuitive abilities since he felt called here to Moonstream without any other explanation. Because the truth was, Moonstream had felt restless lately, like there was a part of her she was missing or had forgotten, and it was really bothering her. But she'd only shared this with Moonchild.

Nightglow wasn't sure what it all meant, but he did know that what he felt for Moonstream was real, and he was willing to be as patient as she needed, and that if she chose not to accept him he would accept that and move on. But then one day, she approached him. She admitted that there was something about him that she could not shake, though she'd tried. Something about him just called to her, and she couldn't explain it. She, Nightglow, and Nightcavern all talked about it and finally came to terms with whatever they were. Naturally, Nightcavern just wanted her to be happy and to be fulfilled, and even he'd noticed that something had been bothering her for a while. Nightglow reassured her that he would never force her into something she didn't want, and he had absolutely no intention to interfere in a standing relationship. Moonstream admitted she wasn't sure what she wanted, but that she was fond of both of them in different ways.

So the three of them are taking it slow, but truly enjoy each other's company. Nightglow and Nightcavern spend a lot of time together, often with Cavern the Ice Tundra (Moonstream's old mate, and friend; and Nightcavern's good buddy). When Moonstream has free time, she either spends it with Nightcavern or Nightglow, sometimes with both. Her son and father-in-law are both not sure what to think about it, but are polite to Nightglow nonetheless and happy that Moonstream is happy.

Nightglow also enjoys exploring the clan and nearby territories. He also spends some nights with Moonchild, as he loves deep talks with her and exploring the possibility of his own intuitive capabilities.
