Meiriona, once an ambitious dragon who would do anything to gain power, now languishes in darkness as a mindless, failed attempt at an Emporer, frothing with the only emotion the creature seems capable of: blind rage.
She and her mate fused as a last-ditch effort to keep control over Clan Truth-Seeker (then the Clan of Wyrms), but something went horribly wrong. Instead of killing herself, Meiriona tried to retain her consciousness, infusing the carcass with necromantic magic in an effort to control the torrential power that would surely result.
It didn't work. The true Clan Truth-Seeker had healers at the ready, using blessings from the Deities themselves to prevent such a disaster from forming. Meiriona lost her chance at power--as well as her clan, her mate, and her mind.
