BIOGRAPHY

Unstable and violent, most in Sundry's Refuge wonder why Lylum is even housed in the clan. Not many seem fond of her, but everyone is too intimidated by her huge talons and fiery breath to even approach her. The Refuge has stopped trying to befriend her, as the few early attempts were met with swift vengeance. Lylum has a tendency to take every compliment as a sign of weakness and an attack on her personal pride.

She is loud and brash, and comes off as aggressive even when she is feeling content. The few dragons who she perceived as attempting to challenge her dominance have been pinned, beaten, and even burned before anyone could intervene. Lylum isn't an indiscriminate killer, but she is incredibly dangerous. Still, despite her anger issues and lack of any social etiquette, Lylum wants to be valued. She wants to prove herself, and craves attention - not fear or disgust, but genuine appreciation for her work.

BIOGRAPHY

Lylum acts as the Refuge's groundskeeper, and takes her job very seriously. She wants her skills as a combatant to be of use to the clan, and considers herself in a permanent life debt to Drogwen. Raised in a tribe of Banescale mercenaries known as Ardent Blaze, Lylum acted for many years as muscle for hire. Her clan had a strict way of life, and believed in strength, pride, and personal honor above all else. Lylum was a prodigy on the battlefield, and her sheer firepower and toxic smog earned the clan countless coins. However, on an expedition into Light territory, her clan ran into a battle they couldn't handle. Their fight against some simple ruffians was going according to routine until a group of Lightweaver's own forces flanked them from the forest, interpreting the group of mercenaries as intruders sent by Flamecaller.

Their targets fled the field, and the Banescales were quickly surrounded. Lylum found herself face-to-face with a towering Earth Guardian. Attacking from the air, her jaws sank deep into his wing's soft skin - which she quickly realized had turned as hard as stone. With a heavy blow to her jaw, her battle was over. By the command their leader Orphaeus, Ardent Blaze cut their losses and swiftly fled the field. However, as Lightweaver's elites stood towering above her, weapons readied, a massive Guardian swooped down to protect her. She was too stunned to hear the conversation, but distinctly remembers Drogwen carrying her back to the Refuge to heal. She considers herself indebted to the Guardian ever since.
