BIOGRAPHY
With his massive size and lack of expression, most of the Refuge has their eyes on Yanya. The Ridgeback just showed up one day with the request to join the clan. Drogwen admitted him, provided he pulls his weight, but nearly everyone is uncomfortable around him. He refuses to disclose anything about his past, and is clearly disinterested in socializing. When he does speak, his deep, friendly voice has a distinct edge to it, and his bright smile never reaches his eyes. Yanya runs a small tailoring shop out of his lair, and refused to have it built by Roarke, instead digging his space out away from the town center. His tailoring is of decent quality, but dragons really visit him to have their armor and weapons repaired. He seems to have a particular fondness of working with weapons, and his little stall isn't fooling anyone; behind his shop's simple patchwork clothing hides glittering, polished weaponry, and the underside of his counter is filled with dubious alchemical brews. Drogwen inspects his work frequently, but when the Vanguard is in town his heavily-stocked armory seems to disappear for a day or two. Some dragons have reported hearing scraping, digging sounds underneath his shop at night, with his towering figure nowhere to be found.

BIOGRAPHY
While Yanya's past is unknown to everyone in the Refuge, it's clear that he was once involved in some shady business ventures. However, the truth of it is far more than that. Once a part of a certain guild dedicated to hunting Emperors, Yanya's skill in combat is almost unparalleled. Yanya knows far too much about the guild's history, and most dragons who get that far seem to disappear. His sense of morality is dubious at best, but he ended up frequently at odds with some of the higher-ups in the Guild, and he knew when it was time to leave. Most of all, Yanya is crafty. An impressive escape artist, he has beguiled his way out of countless life-threatening situations. He's seen things that would make other dragons collapse out of repulsion, and his singular remaining instinct is self-preservation. He does not care about others, and to him, the Refuge is likely another temporary stop. He is more dangerous than anyone knows, and will do anything to ensure that he lives another day.
