Quari

Look lower, wanderer. Between my shoulders.

I am Quari. My name given to me as a derivative of "aquarium", for that's where I live. This bio-construct was carefully grown for me by commission, and cost me nearly everything I had - both financially and philosophically. But it was worth it just to be up here, to live amongst the dragons, to live as one of them.

But most importantly, to live amongst the trees. They are wondrous, aren't they? Have you ever seen something so strange? From small to tall, always desperately reaching up. For what? For the stars? Do they aspire to leave this world? And the way they streach! And spread! Splitting and breaking from a single entity into thousands, each reaching in a different direction, each separate and yet connected. Beautiful. Just beautiful.

Ah, this aquarium was worth it. It responds excellently to my control, and it can even fly. Oh, to see the jungle from above! To watch the trees spread thickly, intertwining with one another until they look like a single entity. It's poetic. Each tree begins as one, branches in a thousand different ways and joins the other trees, until they are all one.

I could watch them forever.
