BIOGRAPHY
With his luxurious feathers and confident smile, Empyrus makes for an incredibly charismatic salesman. He is cordial and smooth-talking, and his demeanor is highly persuasive. He knows other dragons like no other, and he is a natural-born leader. He knows that he possesses these qualities, and takes full advantage of them as the head of his caravan. Called the Plumed Peddler Caravan, the group he inherited from his father is well-known throughout Sornieth for its quality, despite its relatively small size. Empyrus has connections all over, though his habit of penny-pinching has become common knowledge among the caravan's business partners. Sundry's Refuge is one of his main stops in his route through the Sunbeam Ruins, and he makes solid coin for stopping by. Empyrus has a primarily business-focused mindset, and despite his charming personality, he interacts with people little outside of that. Ironically, he isn't very good at genuine communication, and tends to snap when even mildly frustrated. Underneath his suave persona, he's easily offended and a bit of a baby. He jealously hoards his personal belongings, and despises when anyone touches his stuff. His habits can be a handful even for the most patient of dragons.

BIOGRAPHY
Born into a well-to do merchant family, Empyrus was always considered the heir of the family business. He was taught to love the art of coaxing the best deals out of others, and he was always outstanding at getting what he wanted. However, he was never particularly close with his family, and he tended to view them as business associates like everyone else. When his father finally settled down as a reputable flight representative in the Hoverview Vale, he inherited the Caravan, which had been his goal for most of his young life. He has a tendency to boss the other Coatls in his group around like his father did, much to the dismay of the timid Alfet. As children, he and Baphos were exceptionally close, but despite still working together their relationship has gotten more tense over the years. Empyrus still cares for his sister, but he is terrible at communicating with her. Internally, Empyrus recognizes that Baphos is the only friend he's ever really had, and he sometimes makes an effort to bond with her. Generally, his attempts have mixed results, and they end up bickering rather than making improvements.
