Lore Notes:
- Firstborn of Scripture (firstborn of Faust)
- Studied her father as he worked, curious about the exalted
- One day found a note set aside, seemingly missed by her father or the exalted themselves
- Was written by someone she didn't recognize inquiring about whether a Writ drake had kin still
- Noticed how the note said it should reach Writ's nest siblings somehow
- Also found a cookie with the note
- Still ever curious, she snatched the cookie and handed the note off to her father
- Of course a rapport was started between the two brothers, one the eldest of the nest, one the youngest
- All with little Esmeralda receiving extra cookies, supposedly made by a coatl named Razael
- Finally an idea formed with Writ; Could he perhaps draw in his nieces and nephews to join him in the Grand Archive?
- With how spoiled Esmeralda was, she wound up being the first to volunteer
- They didn't know how she'd show up... until apparently Writ wrote it to be so
- After her goodbyes, she'd blink, and she'd be exactly where Writ had been when he first arrived
- Writ simply handed her a book and welcomed her to Arcadia, and eventually the Divided Spire
- She'd been handed her own book, with a note written by Writ as to how she'd appear
- Writ had discovered he can leave his own annotations whenever he writes them on another page, simply saying "The following appears on the page of Esmeralda's book in the annotations:" followed by whatever he has to say
- Plans on writing advice for his nieces and nephews whenever they appear, and someday make their way to his new home
- Esmeralda grew to love sweets, and often spends her free time researching old bakery and candy recipes with the seemingly ancient Coatl Razael
- Otherwise can be found keeping up the Grand Archive alongside Writ, helping others find exactly what they're looking for
- Wonders if her grandfather, Faust, gets the cookies Writ writes for him
- Hopes they're as sweet as the ones she makes now (her specialty is the classic sugar cookie)
- Has convinced Writ to try other cookies, though his favorite are orange creamsicle flavored
- Often brings her own cookies to Writ when it's time for a break
- Even writes back to her father every now and then, occasionally alongside a cookie delivery of one of her recent batches via her uncle Writ
- Followed the runaways to try and see more of the world to write back to her father (and learn more cookie recipes)
- Got caught in a time warp and turned into a kit (originally a fest shiro with 2 tails and plague eyes)
- Was mid transformation into a tenko (just short on the eyes) when she was yanked out of the warp, disrupting her transformation
- Kept her fest genes, got tenko colors, eyes between light and plague in Limbo, 9 tails
- Doesn't seem to mind and says she's "close enough"
- Still likes baking cookies and writing to this day
- Found herself writing little things in her spare time when a noodle of Agar and Ramiel dropped in
- Caught the attention of the couple due to how easily she handled the noodle
- Began helping them more using cookie bribes and stories
- Wrote little stories about the noodles and what they did that day
- Eventually acted as a sort of night nurse for noodles
- Imagine her surprise when noodles appeared for her too
- Helped them discover that she liked Ramiel too
- Kids made Agar curious so poly was agreed
- Funky little foxes are fun for the three, and a nice change of pace from the cursed dogs
- Pipe limbos are fun, the rare tenko is more so with the good luck of Ramiel's line
- Just happy to vibe rn, even if her partner is a ball of papers and cards
