Albategnius was once a brave warrior of the Mechanical Wants, using their wolf blood to fight savage nature mages and lightening scavengers. But that was a long time ago, now they nothing but a vessel for the cruelty of Lewandowsky. The witch kidnapped him and dragged him into her dark prison. She tore his fingernails from his hands and ripped out his eyes. Soon he starved to death, but that wasn't the end. She used her magic to brag the coprse back to half-life, and sent it out into the world to spread her darkness. But something of Albategnius's soul does remain, trapped in oil-slick fur and pus-chocked pipes, raging to be free.

Albategnius was discovered one day, having passed out from exhaustion just outside of the territory of Crow Callers. Pollock and Jackson were the first to notice him.

"Is it dead? Should we bury it?" Jackson asked.

"Jackson!" Pollock scolded.

"Seriously! What are we supposed to do?!" Jackson asked. Then, Albategnius started to get up, and both heads of the Aberration screamed.

"Not dead! Not dead!" Pollock screamed.

"Yeah, I figured that out!" Jackson replied.

Albategnius stopped, and looked at the Aberration.

"No offense, man, but... you're looking pretty rough." Pollock remarked.

"Yeah, you really do." Jackson remarked, then pointed to the cloth skin and metallic parts that the Aberration's body had, "Maybe we could set you up with the guy who rebuilt us?"

"Yeah! I think that would be doable. We could-" Pollock started to say, and then stopped to look around. Suddenly, Albategnius was nowhere in sight.

"...um, where'd he go?" Pollock asked.
