Starynight

Where Starynight grew up, breeding pairs were decided by a higher power, so she wasn't surprised when her mate was chosen for her. She didn't care much for her assigned breeding partner, Ribbonglimmer, but that is very much outweighed by the benefits. She was one of the first dragons in Phthalo's clan, and the first dragon to have eggs in it, which earned her a lot of respect. Just before having eggs, she paid a visit to her home clan, to try and convince her sister, Beforedawn, to come with her. It took some convincing, but eventually she decided to go live in Phthalo's clan.

Starynight hatched two dragonets, Tahoe and Fathom. She was proud to raise them, even without any help from Ribbonglimmer. In a moment of anger, Ribbonglimmer attacked his dragonets, huting Fathom very badly. Starynight was furious, and said she would never have Ribbonglimmer's dragonets again. Phthalo agreed, and punished Ribbonglimmer by assigning Blackice, his younger brother, to be Starynight's mate instead. Starynight likes Blackice better than Ribbonglimmer, as he's much kinder to her, and helps her rase her dragonets.

Currently, Starynight has been working as a Den Keeper, using her skills as a nature dragon to make the plants grow in a manner that hides the Clan's Lair from view. She helps out at the Copper Mine occasionally, speeding the growth of trees to make beams, and creating thick plant cover to keep her clan's activities secret.
