Casually referred to as Moonpearl, this dragon has several different interests. He comes from a solid background in music and can play guitar, which he taught to his son. He also studied business and coconut farming, later combining the two and making a living selling coconut water to support his nomadic musician lifestyle. Moonpearl has a special relationship with identity, having struggled with it before and now has started a club for those seeking help in finding themselves. He lives on the land portion of Inspiration Island and tries to spend time with his mate in between running a business.

Melitta chose her name because she is more obsessed with apples than other merfolk ((go read some folklore and just trust me)). Since apples can't grow under the sea, she is always watching orchards from shallow water, waiting for her moment to strike. One day she stole a coconut, thinking it was an apple, and got very upset. The dragon tending the grove went to see what the fuss was about and was delighted to find a curious mermaid. He was only too happy to show her how to eat the thing she'd stolen properly. Melitta found she was strong enough to crack the coconut with her bare hands and was very interested in learning how to cultivate this tropical delicacy. She'd been born in colder waters that could never support either apples or coconuts without heavy and strenuous arcane attention. So Moonpearl offered her a job at his coconut farm, and Melitta agreed under the condition that he add apples to his farm. It took a lot of finesse and just a little arcane cheating but Moon was finally able to grow apples alongside his coconut trees, and his juice and water business is booming. Melitta and her fruit-obsessed friends are more than happy to help work the fields in exchange for their weight in the crop.

Jaydin
What was Jaydin doing when Pearl found him injured and took him in? Well first he was in this music class taught by this small dragon who didn't have a name at the time (Moonpearl). The instructor was working on finding his own identity by teaching music theory to other no-name dragons. He was going by the Music Man at the time for simplicity's sake. There were a lot of other students in his class, but Jaydin was the same height as the teacher so he didn't feel threatened. Yet. The Music Man warned him to be careful of the bigger dragons, and he warned his students not to step on each other, but it was just a matter of time before something happened. It was a fluke that Pearl happened to be visiting the coconut grove in person to stock up on supplies when Mimi saw Jaydin get accidentally stomped and swooped in to help him. The one responsible apologized profusely and asked if there was anything they could do. Jaydin decided he needed to be in a safer place, and Mimi wasn't really going to let him say no to receiving help anyway, so Pearl flew them back to his nest and Jaydin has been hiding under Pearl ever since. He still gets hurt a lot and it's frankly alarming, but he's young. He'll either learn or he won't.
