Uh-oh, looks like this music enthusiast wandered a little too far from his home lair (sneesnaw, 341988), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!
This dragon is looking for a new permanent home after traveling enough with his mate/charge and then returning to his home lair! If you're interested, please let his owner (sneesnaw, 341988) know upon you receiving him so that they can send him back to you!

Entry 1: Lair Name : : Now that we're adults, Minerva and I have decided to leave the clan and travel after meeting so many travelers as we grew up. I'll miss my sister, but perhaps we will meet up again someday. I've met my charge and mate, a traveling dragon who had come to our clan to visit. She was beautiful and I just knew I was destined to protect her.
Entry 2: Kingdom of Ascension : We went to a place with a huge castle in the center, with large walls separating the entire kingdom from the outside world. We flew in and had a fun time, until we decided to have a nest! Unfortunately, because of an event all the nests were full, but after noticing a nearby traveling agency we're able to go to another Arcane clan to nest! I'll be writing in here again, when I'm back in the kingdom with my children. Hopefully we get alot!
Entry 3: Unknown Arcane Territory : I won't be writing much, but I just wanted to tell the world- er, in this case, vent it out to this book, that I am a proud father of three hatchlings! We're set to leave for the Kingdom so we can take care of the hatchlings there together, ooh I can't wait for our family's future!
Entry 4: Kingdom of Ascension : Dear god, something oh-so horrible happened! While we were all flying home, me and Dina talking about the future, a giant, windy, magical storm blew across us! We were flying over a huge ravine when it struck. I also remember seeing magic particles larger than I've ever seen! We tried to fly as fast as possible, dodging each of the bullets like crazy. However, Dina was exhausted & unable to fly quickly. Eventually, a huge magic meteor struck Dina in the head as she lost consciousness.
The last thing I saw of her was her falling down into the ravine before flying down in an attempt to save her. I wasn't able to reach for her hand and hold all three of our children at the same time. While I was struggling to hold onto each of our children a strong breeze blew me away, until all I could see was the fog. I waited for the wind to stop & looked for Dina everywhere, but she was nowhere to be found. Silently crying to myself, I rushed back to the kingdom to drop off our babies & call for help. The Honorables sent out a few of their soldiers to try and look for Dina, but after hours and hours of searching they were not able to find anything. Right now the search is still going on, but I didn't want to wait any longer to see my Dina again. I decided to set off myself, carrying her journal with me. I also left my children to the care of the Honorables, as well as left notes for my children to know where I've gone & what happened to their mother that day. Once I find their mother I will meet up with my children again, and we will be one big happy family once more.
...I'm sorry I failed to protect you Dina. I don't know whether you're dead or alive, but I just have this feeling you're alive! Please, come back to me.
Entry 5: The Kingdom : The Honorables decided to send me to a clan that travelers had both come from and gone to - a clan known as the Kingdom, hidden within the Foxfire Bramble. A traveler staying with them at the time told me all about the Kingdom. They were pretty vague on where in the Bramble it was, but told me that if I searched hard enough, I would find it.
And so I set off from the Arcane territories and made my way across Sornieth to the Foxfire Bramble. Getting in was easy - finding the Kingdom was harder. I searched for HOURS, but I couldn't find anything except growling Beastclans and dragons alike! No one welcomed my presence... eventually, I made to leave, hoping to find a friendlier clan somewhere on the edge of the Bramble when a fog rolled in. I felt panic set in, remembering what had happened when a fog set in last time... so I ran. Ran, trying to find a way out of the fog. But then I found myself underground, and then overlooking a beautiful sprawling metropolitan city-like place with twelve spires.
The Kingdom. I found it at last.
An Obelisk named Venti greeted me, but it was actually a midnight-colored Guardian who showed me around. Dressed in warrior's armor with a crossbow at her hilt and red crystals creeping upon her wings with golden chains locked around them, she introduced herself as Starlight. Over a cup or two of tea, I poured out my story to her. She listened carefully to my story, and afterward invited me to the Citadel that night. "The Council of Seven is getting together tonight," she told me with a soft smile. "I can bring up your plight to them."
And so she did. I watched the debate with my own two eyes; watched as Starlight calmly explained the situation at hand. Watched as a midnight-colored Spiral decked out in navy aviator's garments and aqua wing plating was adamant that this search happen. Watched as a purple-blue Ridgeback dressed in loose scholarly clothing was vehemently against the search. Watched as a navy and orange-colored Wildclaw in autumn garb commented that the ravine would be perfect for Beastclans to hide, and a white Coatl with cool-colored wings, dressed in a hunter's gear speak that the search was too wide. My heart sunk as I watched as a white and robin-colored Mirror nervously suggest that they could ask Starsea about her fate.
And then the final member, a white Pearlcatcher with shimmering teal wings, bearing the marks of an outcast but a powerful magic user, spoke out amidst the noise:
"The Queen would want us to search."
The entire room fell silent; even the court's scribe stopped writing and the guard at the door fell lackluster a little as shock gripped the room. The Pearlcatcher looked over the room as she spoke. "We all knew the Queen personally. That's why she made us the Council in her stead as she left. Left on what? Have you surely forgotten?"
Her eyes fell on me, grief in her Shadow-aligned eyes. "Left to find her mate and friends. We can't say no to Orpheus' request. Because then we would be hypocrites; we let our Queen go, for that was all we could do. So we should do all we can to help Orpheus find his mate - we can do so much more now than we could all those years ago."
The room kept silent for a little while, some dragons trying to find control over their jaws again, while others simply hung their heads. Finally, Starlight raised her head and nodded. "Seafoam is right. The Queen would want us to do this."
Slowly, the room nodded in agreement, and I felt my heart soar as Seafoam's eyes lit up. "Orpheus, we will help you in your search for your mate Dina. We will keep our ears and eyes open, and inform all coming travelers about your mate. If anyone has heard anything about her, we will look into it."
"We cannot afford to bring the Kingdom's residents into this, you understand," the Wildclaw said, side-glancing me. "The Kingdom is a safe haven for the weary, wounded, and outcasts. This is first and foremost our mission."
"Go in peace, Orpheus, knowing that we will help you and your mission," Seafoam rolled her eyes at the Wildclaw.
Starlight let me sleep with her for the night, and then saw me off the next day. "I'm sorry there isn't much we can do," she apologized, looking down. "But the Council has busy lives and we try not to let the Kingdom know of the terrible things that come to us. Many people who live here have had horrible lives already."
"They'll know by the end of the week," Venti chuckled. Starlight smacked him lightly, and the Obelisk grunted, brushing off invisible dust where Starfire smacked him.
"But we will try and help," Starlight smiled. "We send out a lot of travelers ourselves. We'll tell them and tell them to keep an eye out for your mate."
I thanked her profusely, and then left the Kingdom, promising to return and hear of any news they bore. Time to keep searching... Dina was alive, I'm sure of it!!

O R P H E U S P O E T / M U S I C I A N ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮ Orpheus - a name derived from greek mythology which means "darkness of the night" ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ Middle hatchling from the clutch of Nuit and Nudibranch, Orpheus came out of his egg rather unceremoniously. He wasn't fearless like his brother, no. Orpheus felt himself drawn to the sounds of the musicians in the clan, wanting to learn as much as he could about it. His mother would joke that his charge would end up being a musical instrument, and Orpheus took it to heart. Music was his passion, even as a young hatchling. He wanted to know what music was like from all around Sornieth, but was unsure of how to learn that at such a young age. So instead, he settled for the travelers that came by, hoping one of them would be musically inclined. My beloved Dina's journal. I read this whenever I miss her, which is very, very often. This is her journal. This item will always stay with me, no matter what.
DINA'S JOURNAL Entry 1: Hollowshade : Dina's first stop was a lair not too far from her home. It was here she met a guardian named Orpheus, who lured her in with his songs. The two bonded and Orpheus admitted that he knew she was his charge. Lucky for them both, romantic feelings were shared between the two. They decided they would travel together from now on, but both agreed they didn't wish to have a nest within their home territory. Perhaps further on their travels. Entry 2: Kingdom of Ascension : I wanted to have an Arcane nest badly, so we went a beautiful kingdom in the Arcane region. Sadly, all the nests were full, and we were disapointed. However, the traveling agency nearby offered to send us to another Arcane lair temporarily! Me and Orpheus happily flew off to the place. I'll be writing again after our beautiful babies are here! Entry 3: Unknown Arcane Clan : Our babies have hatched! I've been feeling so tired just from giving birth, but right now I'm fine! The deities have blessed us with 3 beautiful hatchlings, all of them healthy. Orpheus wants us to leave for the kingdom so we can raise our children there, so I agreed. I didn't tell him I was feeling really tired, but I should be ok, since it's a short trip back and I wanted to make him happy. He offered to carry all the children back, and once I'm done writing this I will give him this journal too! Normally it's not a problem, but I was too tired to carry anything!
