Biography
Robin
mediator | graceful | even | sympathetic mate: N/A | As the Sanctuary's territory expanded, dragons from all over settled. They came from different flights and lands thus had their own ways of thinking and sometimes these differences led to conflict. Initially, Millicent handled these disagreements but as the population grew, she found herself overwhelmed and was not always able to mediate. Enter Robin. Hailing from the center of the Turrets of Goldensparc, Robin was used to bustling areas and loud opinionated dragons. In fact, her own clan had become too densely populated and she set off to find a new home Robin used these travels as a chance to familiarize herself with Sorneith and its flights. She paid apt attention to each dragon she met, noting their culture and traditions. Eventually, she came to the Scarred Wasteland and met Millicent. Recognizing Robin as an outsider, Millicent welcomed Robin to a meal in her clan, noting the dangers of the Scarred Wasteland for non-plague dragons. Robin accepted and followed Millicent to her clan: a beautiful Sanctuary amidst the Scarred Wasteland with ample food and drink. Millicent made a spot of tea for them and they conversed. Robin told of her travels while Millicent expressed her recent struggles in managing the Sanctuary, mentioning a recent conflict between two new settlers who hailed from flights she was unfamiliar with. Sympathetic to Millicent and thankful for the hospitality, Robin offered her assistance in mending the conflict. Though Millicent was reluctant at first, not wanting to burden her guest, she accepted Robin's offer. She led her to the village where two gaolers dwelt: Klaus and Jesper. Klaus hailed from the Southern Iceland and Jesper the Viridian Labyrinth. They had come to an impasse over their shared space. For Klaus wanted to use his magic to cool the air, but Jesper feared what the freeze would do to his flowers. Robin considered. She had been to both territories and noted her experiences. She told Jesper that while ice could snuff out life, it could also preserve. She suggested that Klaus use his ice magic to coat Jesper's plants so they may be protected from the freezing temperatures. Klaus then cast a spell to cover the plants in a shimmering frost. The magic held the blooms in place, allowing them to flourish despite the cold. Delighted, Jesper and Klaus thanked Robin for her help. Millicent too thanked Robin. She also admitted that she needed help in managing the Sanctuary and was impressed with Robin's handling of the situation. She asked if Robin would stay and act as mediator for the village. In return, she would be free to a home of her own and whatever food and resources she required. Robin readily accepted. For she enjoyed Millicent's company and the idea of helping establish a new clan excited her. Today, Robin remains in the Sanctuary, welcoming all dragons who seek a permanent settlement. She assures all dragons that she will hear any grievances they may have and to never hesitate in approaching her. Robin listens to all disagreements with sympathy and understanding. She encourages compromise and ensures that dragons exit conversations with an open mind and listen to their neighbor before they accuse. Thanks to her, the Sanctuary is one of the most peaceful clans in the Scarred Wasteland.
