Chai is a guardian for the inner circle of the clan's observatory. She was the very first clan member to take up a guardian role (not to be confused with her being a literal Guardian.) She can be found standing guard over the entrance to the upper floors. Her main job is to ensure that the clan founders and higher ranks remain safe and sound. If an outsider wants to talk to the higher-ups, they have to go through her first.
Chai can be rather stern but also loyal towards her friends. She cannot be easily bribed and will not budge without good reason. Other dragons might find negotiating with her difficult.
Satyrion and Yarrow are her charges. She escorts them on trips away from the clan and protects their belongings. During these trips, Aquamarina takes her place at the entrance.
⌈ BACKSTORY ⌋
Chai originally lived in the Mirrorlight Promenade, where she worked as a guard for her birth clan.
Several times, she would meet Yarrow while on patrol, since he was visiting the Sunbeam Ruins for a week. They found plenty of things in common together and became friends during that short time.
When Yarrow invited her to join his clan, she accepted. She bid farewell to her birth clan and set off with him back to the clan's observatory in the Starfall Isles.
