⌈ KAMINARI ⌋
Lead Engineer
2nd Gen • "she/her"
"Hey, you there! No slacking. Get back to work!"
Kaminari is the lead engineer of the magitech division and in charge of keeping things running around the lair. She can be rather strict with the other engineers, especially when mistakes are made, but she means well. Any critical mistake could lead to injury. She corrects the problems before they get out of control. If something's broken, she'll find a way to fix it!
Kami is as strict as the big Boss himself, always keeping herself and the other engineers on a tight schedule - not a minute too early or too late. If she says that something will be done on time, it will be done on time. Her voice is very LOUD. The other divisions could hear her shouting commands a mile away. She discourages lazy behavior and clowning around, but, if her engineers are doing well, she'll let them have the weekends off.
Even before the clan had built their own observatory, Kami has been here; she is always here. She's one of the longest clan members and was responsible for establishing the magitech division. Some of her old machines are still running around the building, properly maintained and updated by the newer engineers under her watch. She has the respect of their Lightning ambassador and is considered his equal in role.
⌈ BACKSTORY ⌋
Her backstory in a nutshell:
Kami was working as an engineer in the Shifting Expanse.
She experimented with her own projects and builds on the side.
She gets bored and begins to note how nothing interests her anymore.
(But in reality, she suffered depression after the death of her brother a previous month, due to an accident at the towers.)
She leaves her home in search of new materials to build with.
While in the Wind place, she runs into Satyrion and Yarrow who are travelling with two hatchlings.
She yeets Yarrow.
Satyrion gets mad.
They became friends somehow.
She joins them and gets inspired by the Arcane magics to create new magitech devices and other things.
Kami also shouldn't be in charge of hatchlings.
...but she has more or less adopted Aether.
