A twin flame born to twin souls, Pollux counts herself of one-of-two, one-in-two. She and her twin brother Castor exist as a unit and cannot be separated. It has always been this way, to their parent's chagrin. They preferred Castor, his serious demeanour and studious nature. She burnt hotter than he, warm and considerate and shrewdly intelligent, but also quick to anger and sadden, quick to grow bored and find animals to play with. It did hurt her, a hurt that now sits deep down and she mostly attempts to ignore. Whilst some might expect it would create bad blood between her and Castor, it only pulled them closer. Instead of allowing their family, the illustrious Diamanti, to marry them off to grow their influence, they chose to join the Order together. She is very proud to be a part of Lux Aeterna, deeply faithful and incredibly powerful; she carries a replica of the pater god Ios Dei's sword and always fights with Castor, the two of them moving as one being as they cut through evil. Pollux also has an ability where she can breathe purified light to rid someone of a Shade infection. It's useful, but it hurts terribly. Outside of guild work she can be found drawing, fencing, tending to animals, or stargazing. She is prone to wander, collecting interesting rocks and relics, or otherwise praying in the temples for the Heralds to protect her teammates when they next find themselves in danger. She is a genuine and kind soul, but one would be very remiss to try to take advantage of this: her kindness is not naivety. |
