"Time's now to prove yourself, kiddo!" ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ Three curious siblings, all who wish to see the world and all the trials that it has planned for them. While two of them travel many lands in such for the thrills of life. One stayed in the safe claws of an empire, at least for now. Phthonus is the only brother of the three siblings, with a strong claw. He wanders around many lands, collecting items while he does so. His first stop was the Kingdom of Ascension, where he visited many stores all around Praise Village & Glorywood. Unfortunately, everything there was too expensive for him, so he decided to just leave early. While flying on the way out, I felt a small tug at my back, but I didn't think much of it. A few weeks later, Phthonus landed in a small village of warriors near the Wyrmwound. Shortly after he landed, he found out that the "small tug" was actually a little fae who followed him out of the Kingdom of Ascension. Furious at this dragon's carelessness for rules and safety, he gave her a stern lecture, which the fae reluctantly listened to. He was going to leave her here, but considering the environment, he decided to keep her with him for a bit longer. At least until they're somewhere safe. Besides, Ghostly, he found out her name was, is actually quite good at scavenging food. So at least she'll be able to feed herself on the way. Became traveling companions with Ghostly! xxxxxxxx  Phthonus thought it might be a nice idea to led Ghostly back to Kindle Empire, perhaps he could see if the small fae wished to stay there with his sibling but while on the way back, it seemed the small group took a wrong turn and ended up in a swamp-land. While wandering toward the place to find some kind of house or spot to rest, Ghostly seemed to become nervous over a few things in which she saw, while Phthonus just brushed it off and kept his eyes on the task of leaving this place as soon as. He was unaware that someone had been watching them the whole time. The Guardian decided that they'd head South from the fetid swamp and take a detour over the Sea to see what the Southern Icefield had to offer. Ghostly wanted to pamper herself at a bed and breakfast... of course she did. Phthonus, meanwhile, wanted to see a show. The First House of the Blood Moon Dancers was here, but there was a smaller, newer House that specialized in war-dances that he really wanted to see. He wasn't going to say no to watching a bunch of gorgeous women. Ghostly tried to tell him that they were assassins for hire, but he figured she was just jealous. The Blood Moon Dancers were demon-killing specialists. Unfortunately, though he found the way to House Leo's lodge, the duo nearly died of exposure on the long trek up. There was a Clan that made its home under the mountain, and they took pity on the pair and brought them inside. The trip wasn't wasted, however. The warriors of Clan AXQU were kind enough to teach him improved self-defense techniques, and Ghostly learned both basic healing magic and basic offensive magic. Maybe she was more useful than he thought. Phthonus felt himself warming to his traveling companion, just a little, despite himself. The clumsy and awkward small talk he tried to make when they left Clan AXQU was a start, at least. (Lv.3 > 6; Mist Slash applied) Phthonus's next adventure was, well, less of anadventure and more of a...vacation. He and Ghostly had joined up with a clan of traveling entertainers, and though they did have to help out with clan duties while they traveled together, the work was simple and enjoyable, and their evenings were filled with laughter and lovely performances. The Guardian greatly enjoyed this period of relaxation after what he'd been through recently, and used the time there to rest up for his next adventure. (next entry)
