Palom

Palom is a gentle soul that has always felt more at ease amongst beastkind than other dragons. Due to his heritage (Animal Whisperer lineage), he is able to communicate with a range of creatures. He rarely uses the little Draconic he knows, preferring to use body language to get his point across.

An Imperial female named Harmony showed up at the pen where the clan's familiars were housed and began to come around every day. Palom tried not to be bothered by her presence, which he found to be easier than with most dragons. She radiated patience and understanding, which she demonstrated when playing with the various familiars. He loved that the creatures all seemed to love this dragon...in fact, he realized that he'd begun to care for her more than any dragon he's ever met.

He longed for her to come visit and spend time near him. She made him feel safe and he could relax enough to be vulnerable around her, curling up for a nap while she gently stroked his back and head. He found that he relished this touch and was overjoyed to learn that she seemed to want to stay with him. Moreso, she wanted to start a family with him. Palom had always wanted a family, but had never dared dream that he'd find another dragon to nest with. Nest together they did, resulting in # beautiful eggs that the two dragons kept safe and warm.
